Would you explain that? I've kept up with comings and goings on it via Josh Marshall and Kevin Drum's blogs. And one or two online interviews with Harris. Both Marshall and Drum quote Harris as saying they (the Post) had to do something about Froomkin's column in order to retain credibility with the White House. I agree with them that this comment is about as telling as any around of just how misunderstood the proper role of journalists is.
