Both Marshall and Drum quote Harris as saying they (the Post) had to do something about Froomkin's column in order to retain credibility with the White House.

But what did they then do? All I know was that they explained that Froomkin was an on-line columnist, not a Post staff reporter.

What was most interesting about that was finding out that the .com Post isn't the same entity as the newspaper. I'm not sure what I think about that.
