Not sure why you say this is a non-event. While licensing revenues will not be a factor in Amati's overall success, It does validate their technology. I would say it also paves the way for others to license by setting a legal precedent. Many of these companies have publically stated they wouldn't license from Amati. It's interesting that Telechoice hasn't yet announced this licensing agreement. Probably not finished with their crow!
