New to this thread, so bear with me. I retired in 2003. After studying Hulbert's newsletter recommendations for the best performing newsletters over a 20 yr period, found that Brinker Marketimer was listed in the top 5. On a risk adjusted basis, decided that his portfolio III was suited for me as a primary allocation of my funds. Not including dividends, 2003 up 10%, 2004 up 6.5%, 2005 so far up 5.5%. Not spectacular, but steady in an uneasy market environment.

As of his last newsletter, he remains bullish & adds his recommendation to buy anytime the S & P breaches 1180.

Just adding my personal experience to the thread discussion regarding Brinker.
