(Gee, thanks a lot), spiked the story until now and probably only released it because the cat was coming out of the bag elsewhere.

I guess this fell in the category of "NEWS NOT FIT TO PRINT"
in the Times Mission statement slogan.

I wonder how many more examples are needed to illustrate the
Mainstream Media as the privatized version of the Government Printing Press?

But I do think they provide absolutely unbiased coverage of important issues like:

-- runaway brides
-- murders of pregnant women by their husbands
-- missing and later murdered aides to Congressmen they don't like

Here the true value of a free press shines bright!

And by the way, Senator Specter needs to get on the ball. Don't we look for people like him to know all about this sort of thing? DID HE? when did he learn?
