But it seems even these elections were all called pipe dreams only months ago. The millions who voted came out to vote.

Did you watch the TV clips on the Iraqis who came out to vote and what they said? They want the Americans to leave soon and that is why they came out to vote. One of them even called Bush a dictator.

And this what I saw in the US media which off course is controlled very closely by Rumsfeld as far as Iraq goes (embedded journalists concept).
