I couldn't agree more. I started using a program like Ghost (Acronis True Image) a few months ago and I don't see how I ever did without it. On second thought, yes I do see. Every few months when some new program I was trying would not work out or I had some sort of computing problem I would spend hours (if not days) trying to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Inevitably I would end up spending the better part of a day or two starting over from scratch and reinstalling everything. I now make images about every two weeks and keep them on a second hard drive. Barring a disaster that kills both hard drives, I can recover from a complete crash in less than 20 minutes. Takes about thirty minutes to make the Image and verify it and is unattended. I start the process and eat dinner or watch a 30 minute TV show and come back and it's done. I am now a devout believer in imaging!
