My fair skin could never take too much sun, I just burn. Never liked too much heat, air conditioning was a must for me in the usa, and I always had to wear a hat 'cuase I'm nearly bald. I still look like an American in the UK because I wear a baseball hat and position it just so. I like the cold though. The beautiful north in the mountains, the snow and the clear air, OK once you have the right gear available.
