Heh. Been telling all of you, for weeks, that it was a lock.

:-)

Thanks to Michael for getting it done, and to Filo for saving the contest. Standing ovation, sure all threadsters and many lurkers are on their feet.

2005 was the year that Tysabri came unglued. We were slapped in the face with fear of how little we know. It was particularly painful, as Tysabri represents everything that is good about transforming research into patient biobenefit. Tysabri was not low-hanging fruit. It is the product of modern biological insight, the best that we have seen spun out of the "new target" and biologicals revolutions.

Many of us were knocked off our games......... the biotech blindside of all blindsides.

And, without it, Bob (RC) would have whooooooooooooped my ass. My good year would have finished a distant second, if that. Holding 20% of his portfolio in the blindside, he still finishes with a great year. Now that's stock picking.

:-)

And Bob (Cryan) was correct in pointing to those original picks........
