King Kong

I don't understand the premise of this movie.

Explorers spend a huge amount of money to fund an expedition to a prehistoric island and discover Jurassic Park along with rude natives, allegedly extinct dinosaurs and one horny gorilla.

They bring back the gorilla?

What for? They should've turned the island into a showcase park. They'd have made millions. At a minimum they should've brought back a dinosaur. I mean like...dinosaurs are extinct - Gorilla's aren't!! The Smithsonian would've paid them bookoo bucks for a dinosaur with some meat on it.

And, it would've been easy. All they had to do is pay off the natives - move them to L.A. - and the park is theirs.

Besides, the thing between the gorilla and the girl simply wouldn't have worked. It's a question of anatomy. I don't want to be graphic, but things that are really big don't fit into things that are really small. Even the gorilla should've been smart enough to figure that out.

Maybe it's just me. Huh? Is it? I just don't know.

Hmmm, on the other hand, maybe there is method in their madness. I smell sequel, "King Kong II - The Comedy". I bet they even throw in some hobbits.
