May 18, 2005

Plasticon International Inc. has moved a step closer in its transition strategy to move from the Pink Sheets trading system to the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board exchange, which would allow the company's stock to be more widely traded. An audit of all company financials will be completed in four weeks.

"This audit is an important milestone in terms of demonstrating to our shareholders and the public that we are serious in our goal of moving the company forward," Jim Turek, president and CEO of Plasticon International, said in a news release. "Upon completion, we will immediately be filing the necessary documents with the (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) to become fully reporting."

Plasticon International (Pink Sheets: PLNI), based in Lexington, Ky., develops uses for recycled plastics and is the sole owner of a patented line of recycled plastic rebar supports, among other products.
