It's not what he did, but how the chimp did it. He could have gone to one of the secret panels of judges set up by the Patriot act, gotten secret wiretap warrants, and been entirely within the law and acting with judicial supervision, providing he had evidence to convince the judges the wiretaps were warranted, which is a lower standard in terrorism cases than criminal cases. Typically, he didn't have the patience!

Instead, he acted like a dictator ABOVE the law, and did what he did, multiple times over years. He's seems to have the idea that once in office, he's Caesar. That's NOT how it works, and he's going to be discovering that very soon. It's way past time for the checks and balances to check and balance him, and even his fellow Repugnicans seem to realize it now. His stupidity may cost him the Patriot act, which expires Dec. 31st.

We only have HIS WORD as to WHO he was spying on in this country, and why. I don't believe a word the man says. Let's investigate EVERY tap, and the justification for each one. Then, we'll know.
