I saw that, Pearly. Fay goes on to ask if it would make any difference if Chaplin knew Eisler is a Communist. Chaplin replied, "No, it wouldn't." Does that make Chaplin a communist? No. If he was, it makes no difference to me. Communism is a failed economic system with no possible future. It falls under its own weight. You should be glad it never took root in this country any more than it did. That's the point.
