You pretty much described both threads the way I would have too. In typical lib fashion they lay claim to a meme that has no basis in reality, in this case alleging they are moderates or centrists. They publicly pronounce this fabricated meme, repeat it frequently & voilà! They are all moderates & centrists.
Their tolerance for conservative POV's is almost nonexistent. What doesn't result in warnings or bans, gets shouted down. Yet harsh, even vicious left wing rhetoric is common & rarely deemed unacceptable. Only the most extreme cases by lefties are dealt with. They are held up as examples to prove both sides are treated equally.
As for the "faux centrist moderator", well, his posting history speaks for itself. He fancies himself an honest, objective centrist. If you ignore his repeated assertions attempting to establish street cred he is a centrist, the overwhelming content of his posts reveals a dyed in the wool liberal.
The articles he posts are consistently negative against Bush or pro some liberal POV. Any exceptions are extremely rare & heavily caveated by "faux centrist moderator".
His foreign & domestic political views are to the socialist end of the liberal spectrum. His views on the economy, tax cuts, employment, the war on terror, the military, etc, are cast in the most negative light.
He steadfastly dismisses the reality that the MSM is liberally biased.
The "faux centrist moderator", like many libs, uncritically takes at face value every allegation from the MSM & DNC that attacks Bush or the military.
He has nary a harsh word for the relentless seditious words & deeds by Dem leadership, the MSM & the CIA. Instead, he regularly posts articles that are based on the illegal CIA leaks.
He is moderately anti-American.
He absolutely hates Bush.
And he adamantly clings to his left wing POV, ignoring &/or dismissing all evidence to the contrary.
If he is a centrist, I am to the right of Atilla the Hun. |
