It's not a partisan issue - it's an executive abuse of power issue that should be called to account in every administration. Instead it all gets swept under the rug under the guise of executive privilege or national security or I'm the President so &^%$ off BS, and the bedrock principles of American democracy are eroded further and further.

I am amazed how many people want to sit back and let the White House just run amok as it sees fit. We've gone from not trusting institutions that have proven their ability to corrupt people, to begging Big Brother to tuck us in at night and keep us under constant surveillance to protect us.
