Nope, the troops are about 45% democrats, and a good half of them bitch and moan about pisspoor leadership and dishonesty at the top all the time. Maybe even more than half. They also know Bush-Cheney were both draft-dodgers. They're not stupid.

That said, remember that troops by nature have to be sort of brainwashed to obey without question. So they're not really the right people to judge Bush. They also don't have time to pay attention to what Bushies are doing, and they aren't privy to news sources which tell the whole story.
