Sheehan and Murtha forced Bush to change course in Iraq. At least Bush's recent rhetoric reflects a change, but not enough of one. We will see what Bush says tonight, but if he announces 20,000 troops coming home now, then that is what Kerry told him we need. So Bush is finally starting to take Kerry's advice. Better late than never.

Frankly, what we need is 100,000 troops brought home within 9 months. The rest can stick around for security and any emergencies.

Botomline though, this whole Iraq adventure was a mistake. A few good things may come of it, but it wasn't worth it. It only benefitted the Halliburtons of the world and the Shias and Kurds, but not the American People. Also, you know Bushies don't give a damn about the Shias and Kurds. They do however care deeply about Halliburton, Exxon and the rest.
