Thanks Jack. The two most famous insider cases of this nature date back to the 1980's I believe and one involved a WSJ writer (Jonathon ?) of the "Heard on the Street" column and the other involved the printing plant of Business Week. You are absolutely correct in pointing out that the definition of Insider can be a broad one.
