no one ever said that the ovens were used for killing, but they were used extensively in the last few years of the war to cover up their killings and to make easier disposal of the evidence.. most of the victims died from gassing, hanging, shooting, and other by products of forced labor. the fact is, the Nazi's kept extensive records, so there is no questionsing the kill rate. they were proud of their slaughter of unarmed innocents.
