Solon, I never could play poker when under the influence of any kind of alcoholic libation. No chance of getting away with a bluff. Haven't see a cow that was killed by lightning but do have a cow story. I was working cattle with my uncle, when a hail storm came through, and we went out in an old, beat up, pick up to check on the cows. One of them had gotten into a field of green milo maize, was down on her side, and bloated up like a blimp. He stopped the truck, fished out a chisel, and hammer, from the bed, and knocked a hole in her side. The gas spurted out of her, and she was back on her hooves. He then rubbed the wound with meds, and she lived for quite a few more years. That model A is probably a pile of rusty dust by now. :^)
