Thanks for your response. I own books on technical analysis and I understand the basic concepts of support theory, at least for short/intermediate term. But I question the validity of going back 2 years to look for support. Since an actively traded stock like ASND will have changed hands many times, where does the support come from? How valid are 2 year old support values compared to 2 month old values?
