PERSONAL NOTE ABOUT EBAY I use both eBay and Half and Amazon and have used them for about 4 years. Over the last year my sales have gone from 3/4 ebay/half to 3/4 Amazon. Over the last month I've had dozens of problems with eBay/Half. None of my complaints have been answered. Not one. For instance at this particular time I can't log in. It started first as I had to log in each time I visited a new page. Now I can't log in period. Last week the servers slowed down to a crawl. eBay's answer to all questions is that my computer is screwed up. I assure you that is not the case. My belief is that eBay's help people are recruited from people who know nothing about computers. They have a book of standard complaints. If the problem is not in the book they pick an answer out even if it has nothing to do with the problem. Therefor if there is a problem with their servers they don't find out for quite some time. My guess is that the management at eBay is cutting server maintenence and expansion to the very very minimum. Basically they are trading their reputation and maintenence for short term profits which is having a direct effect on sales. As to fraud, from a sellers point of view eBay doesn't care as long as it doesn't get in the news. BEWARE.
