I consistantly read more positive stories on Iraq out of the British and Aussie press than ours.

LB, perhaps. It was a good story though, and I certainly hope we see many more stories just like that.

That is war winning strategy at work.

Back when 911 happened, and the Afghanistan war started I was very pro the USA going out kicking some butt, and maybe the UK helping out too.

Iraq, I had problems with, but my view was always the people and the infrastructure was as important as any firefight with the enemy. Unfortunately, I think a lack of support helping out the Iraqi population has been much of the cause of tensions in Iraq since the invasion occurred.

Good to see on at least one occasion, the lesson is well learned, we are the West in the ME, and the "hearts and minds" idea plus huge amounts of force gets some peace for the people.
