Okay Tim, I give in. I should have written unlateralist instead of isolationist. So, when Americans want to be isolationist, they really do mean in an Albanian sense? Shut the borders, cancel trade. Wow! You sure wouldn't want isolationists to get their way. To the extent that the borders are open, it's globalist I suppose. The actual reality is very much an American Mercantile Militaristic Empire [AMME]. It is successful. I'm a member of the AMME. Once upon a time, long, long ago, I was part of the British Empire. But they fizzled out, mainly because huge numbers of productive British people migrated to the USA/Canada, leaving too many bludgers and skivers. I still spell in English. Mqurice
