And communists aren't extreme? The reason I chimed in is that your poles weren't equally extreme. If you want to put socialists on one end and libertarians on the other, I would have no objection.

libertarians in general fail to address interconnections. So as a political philosophy I find it wanting.

Libertarians address interconnections. The interconnection is the marketplace. Uncontrived rather than contrived interconnection, but interconnection nonetheless.
