She doesn't know that while her dad was off fighting WWII, American citizens of Japanese descent were imprisoned in camps in violation of the Bill of Rights amendments. This was way more than what was necessary to combat espionage at the time.

But FDR has been forgiven by history because he was on the right side of the big issue - the war itself.

Bush's authorizations to listen in on calls to and from America to suspected terrorists won't even be a minor footnote in history.

With X and Baker, you're talking to people who were against the very idea of fighting terrorism from 911 forward. They probably think we deserve to be attacked.
