I didn't see anybody arguing this. Is anybody, for example, seriously arguing that the President can re-activate the draft and start drafting anybody he wants to into the military just on his say-so under the national security rubric?

Or that he can order FBI agents to capture and hang US citizens without indictment, arraignment, or trial on the simple claim that they are a security risk, under the national security rubric?

I haven't heard anybody arguing either of these, though either one would be included under the "anyting he damned well pleased"
