Um I had the kids with me- so we EACH had piles of books. The oldest is in her room chuckling away over one of her new novels (Jemina J)and i found some Murdoch and several other books- oh dear Now I'm looking up lamb recipes. What are YOU having for dinner? I'm glad you like the Orwell. I read it right after reading Anthony Bourdain- a Cook's Tour- so it was really the right book at the right time, for me.
