MicroProse Backs Up 7th Legion Strategy Game With a Barrage of Promotional Activities

ALAMEDA, Calif., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- MicroProse takes aim at a crowded strategy game market as the entertainment software company fires up retailers for the launch of 7th Legion, an action-oriented strategy CD-ROM to be on store shelves this month. Spectrum HoloByte, Inc. (NASDAQ:SBYT) announced today that 7th Legion has mastered and will be supported with a school promotion with Procter & Gamble's Hawaiian Punch and Sunny Delight brands, a NetStakes internet contest, downloadable shareware and more. 7th Legion is produced by Epic MegaGames, Inc. and developed by Vision Software. The game will be published and distributed worldwide under the MicroProse(R) brand name. "7th Legion is a fast-paced, real-time strategy game with a focus on action. MicroProse is also supporting 7th Legion by participating as the exclusive software publisher in NetStakes' Summerstakes Internet sweepstakes that began in June and continues through October.
