On the side of protecting Americans, obviously. Why you guys want to "split the hair" to side against our President is beyond me. You sum up my concern perfectly.

So do I.

I don't think you do. I think it will be shown that the constitutional power the President sited was interpreted properly and no law was broken. I am sure the American public will back his decision.

Bush does not need my approval, your approval, and in this case he does not need fisa approval.

Not clear at all. The law sites only domestic spying, and these involve international terrorists that we know about. And no law supersedes the constitution, which is where the President's power is derived.
