You're close by......could you call the Sunnis and tell them there is only 12 incidents of voter fraud. TIA. It wasn't 12, the number in the article is 20. That's probably not too bad for a national election with 17 million voters. Unfortunately, none of these articles say what exactly the 20 "alleged" improprieties were, how many votes they "allegedly" affected, or anything beyond the number 20 and the word serious. And in the long run, as long as there is another free and fair election in four years time, it really don't matter. Like it or not, this election is a historic moment in ME history. Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians, Syrians and every other neighboring country's population are going to want to know why occupied Iraq can elect its leaders, but they can't. As for the Saudis, there is no way they will ever have free elections if you ask me. The royal family is unlikely to voluntarily give up control of the oil purse strings to elected Saudi rulers, because those rulers would likely immediately impound all of the former royal family's wealth as illegally stolen goods.
