Gus > Your relentless attempt at likening the predicament of whites in post-apartheid SA to that of Europe's non-white immigrants is commendable yet utterly preposterous....

Thanks. But if the blacks don't like it in Europe they can stay in their homes in Africa -- but it's because their home countries are unlivable that's why they leave. It's far easier for them to bitch and moan in Europe than in Zimbabwe or Nigeria or the Congo, wherever, where their leaders don't give a shit whether they live or die. In fact, they even come to SA in their masses where they overrun the already overstrained social and other resources eg places to stay, hospitals, police, welfare etc. And, of course, most don't have employment and live off crime. Those that have employment find it at the expense of local blacks.

Meanwhile, whites live in SA, it's also their country, they are not immigrants. They have a right to fair treatment especially if the Constitution says so. What happened in the past is irrelevant in this argument. And whether some whites are rich or even very rich is also besides the point. There are also some multibillionaire blacks. Each person has a right to equity and equal opportunity, as you said. It's not a group thing but a person thing.
