A strong majority of people who would self identify as libertarian (or regularly be called libertarian by others) support a great deal of protection for both property rights and free speech. I would consider them two examples of the same thing, freedom, or liberty (which is of course the root of "libertarian".

I'd like to see a poll of people that self identify as libertarian asking a broad range of question to see how the chips fall.

At any rate, I think you will find that right/libertarians are stronger on property rights, weaker on freedom of expression, while left/libertarians are stronger on freedom of expression, weaker on property rights. As a result, urban areas are more tolerant of lifestyle diversity but accept more regulator laws, while rural areas are the opposite.

I still maintain that higher population density is unfavorable to libertarian principles for the simple fact that the interconnections are stronger, hence the latitude for individual freedom is diminished. If anyone could provide useful data showing otherwise I would find it very interesting to understand what might be going on.
