The simple pleasures of life... Story time was over last night and my daughter appeared to be already dropping off to sleep, as I was tucking her in. While she snuggled into her pillow, she was a picture of peaceful joy, mumbling, “I’m just glad I was born after they invented blankets.” I said, "Yeah, you're lucky." I asked if she was comfy ... she just offered a muffled affirmative, “uh huh,” in response. We exchanged a "Good night, I love you," and I went off to my bed having been contaminated by her peace of mind.
