Hi Don
on AMAT board we talked about some discrepancy between bookings and billings; so I did some crunching to see when the surplus in billings occurred. Beginning with Q2 2005 billings start to outstrip bookings; Q1 2004 makes sense to me as bookings exceed billings. By March 2005 all the bookings surplus "melted" away but billings continue to exceed bookings - IOW net billings continue to increase as of Q2 2005.
I just subtracted your monthly billings from bookings/ (-) would represent billings exceed bookings for the month
(perhaps SEMI does need to get an audit)
