Datalogix was purchased by Oracle at the beginning of this calendar year. I hear there are real problems with that package -- Oracle probably will rewrite if they have not already. SSA claims to have a lot of process functionality, but some question whether they can do the complex tasks. JD Edwards also claims to have a process package, but is unproven. SAP also has a tremendous number of process companies using their product, but there seem to be shortfalls in real process functionality according to the trade press. Marcam has by far the best vision and products in the process market space. The problem is execution. Apple had better products too.
