XOM.....Share Ray's scepticism XOM.......always ..and still..the laggard.... Looking at 60 min charts.....or daily charts with oodles of lines.......you may have missed noticing that 50d SMA falling steadily since beginning Oct, and now sitting below the 200d.. which peaked Dec 7 and sagging since. Not exactly a picture of youth and vitality..... And if you want to EW this thing, maybe you should start with a monthly or weekly chart for bearings..Not my area of expertise (gg), but I could fantasize a BIG A-B-C Down correction beginning early this year.....with C Down getting underway in Sept.....and, speaking of "the real meat of the down"...... 3 down of that C down seems to have launched into nether regions a couple of weeks ago.....in the middle of that wiggle chart you posted.... JMO.....FWIW.....couldn't resist butting in.....before shuffling off to bed
