These estimates tend to "bounce around" a penny or two from week to week. Not every week of course, but there tends to be a little movement, particularly for the "large cap" stocks.
At the moment, the most recent estimate from First Call is 0.11 for the Nov 05 quarter, and 0.09 for the Feb 06 quarter.
On the NASDAQ site, the Nov 05 consensus estimate is .0112 with a spread of high, 0.23, to a low, 0.01 with the number of estimates of 21. Over the last 4 weeks there have been 2 estimates up and 5 estimates down. For the Feb 06 quarter, the consensus estimate is 0.089 with a spread of high, 0.43, to a low, -0.1 with the number of estimates of 21. Over the last 4 weeks there have been 3 estimates up and 3 estimates down.
In other words, lots of small changes here and there, but overall the consensus is 0.11 for the November quarter and 0.09 for the Feb quarter.
As you noticed from the earnings report however, MU is not giving any guidance for either revenue or earnings for the Feb quarter. They are going to leave that for the analysts to do.:)
