The chemists with the questions about the data in question(some Russian, non theists) have difficulty fitting them into evolutionary theory. Some of them have used the catch-phrase known as ID as a way to offer an alternate explanation. They are not advocating any religion, or the teaching of creation, etc. But for now ID works as a place from which to consider the data. You think they want to teach Bible or something, I guess?
