I would love to debate this with you and support my thinking with references, however LindyBill has made it very clear that what I post to support my viewpoint is subject to his discretion and sensor and it is his thread. Those who think I am a troll must be afraid of their own shadow. I have been posting on SI for almost 10 years and the record is very clear for anyone to see. In that 10 years I have not been banned once. While I agree with much of what is argued here, I also insist on having the right to my own critical thinking to form an opinion. I do not support the trashing of our Constitution and apparently some find that position threatening. It is silly however to play games and try to post only evidence that the moderator finds acceptable. I will NOT play that game and debate under such restricted conditions.

The links of newstories that LindyBill found unacceptable were in answer to those who thought the US image in the ME has improved. Simply that, nothing more. They were an attempt to answer a challenge to me. But if I can't support my viewpoint, why bother? I suspect that is what he wants. Open debate as long as you agree with an accepted position.

By the way, I respect fully LindyBills right to restrict what is allowed, it is his thread. He clearly told me that this is NOT a thread for debate. I can always move on and will. There is sure no shortage of threads that welcome and encourage divergent views. Debate is not bad and LindyBill should not be afraid of my post - there is no shortage here for his thinking.
