China is a huge threat to the security of Asia, and eventually the world. With their growth rate in military spending and their procurement efficiencies they are gaining rapidly. China is procuring new military equipment faster than anyone in the world.

"Relations have been badly strained of late, with Beijing angry over Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's visits to a Tokyo shrine that commemorates war criminals among the war dead."

China is looking for ways to fight with Japan.
