In post number 3122, Dr. Bond stated that Soros and Vinik were buying. Although no information seemed to be available on Bloomberg to confirm this data, Dr. Bond was absolutely correct. Vinik has just filed a 13-D stating that he now owns a 7.2% stake in Vivus. According to the filing he started buying on July 11th and continued to purchase steadily over the next several weeks until his recent purchases this month put him over the 5% reporting line. I guess this is the first chance he's had to file.

Kudos to DR. BOND. YOU ARE THE MAN! HOW DID YOU KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
