I don't think this is an issue about Clinton. It is about American values and the neocons getting hold about info on people. What does Bush know on what is happening in the WH. Osama wanted this to happen. He did not like our freedoms and our rights. He used those to strike us with the specific intent that Big Brother would clamp down on the liberties and freedoms. And that is exactly what happened. Clinton did not call the editor of NYT or any other newspaper and order then not to print the secret spying story. Hats off to NYT to let this out at a time when Patriot Act is up for renewal.
