I guess we gotta hope and believe. I talked to an educated Iraqi who had come to Canada about a year ago. He told me that I had to understand that his people LOVED blood and death. He said that nothing would change because they lived by a different set of values--violence, might, and power--all acted out on a stage of religious fanaticism. He said they did not want peace. They WANTED violence. If he was less than intelligent his words would be less than disturbing. But his words flooded me with pessimism. I hoped (and hope) he was somehow wrong... Thank you for that video collage...
