You know Westi, sometimes the very best presents are "gifts from the heart"....A special soap for someone who loves that scent, a night light to keep the hall just a little bit lite, some ribbons for the hair of a girl of any age, a special recipe that the person enjoyed when coming to your house, etc... Four years ago, and then three years ago, and then two years ago...each year I could really identify with your mood. It was very hard to actually "shop"....Two of those years, I could hardly walk, so I told the Nordy personal shopper what I hoped to find, and she did the walking for he and I both....

A few days ago, one of our sons proposed to a lady who has four daughters....he has two children...all kids are from age 10-15. We were very nervous for him at first, until we met her. She and he will complement each other very well, we think, and certainly hope. I had 3 little gifts for each of the girls before I met them two nights ago. But I wanted to get one more thing after I did meet them. I went to our little, but very special and not terrible expensive, gift store. I found 4 little hanging fairies, each with a different color dress, and wings, and each carrying a little star wand. I knew they liked fairies, and so got them.

Tonight I found out their Mom is considering having the theme be fairies, with just a twinkling of magic.

Can't wait till they open those boxes.

I know that whatever you do, it will be perfect. Just enjoy the day. I know you will!

Merry Christmas! To Each and Every One of You!
