McEwen's NPG's warrants expire on 4/6/2006 .. and Minera's expire 4/7/2006 - coincidence? Those two agreements appear to have been executed with 24 hours of each other!

The MAI announcement also states he would be their biggest shareholder with 14.2% and if the second tranche is approved by shareholders, excluding warrants, ... "would give Mr. McEwen a 23.5% shareholding in Minera Andes.

...If a majority of the shareholders don't approve the second private placement and waive or repeal the shareholder rights plan as it applies to Mr. McEwen through written approval or by a vote at a special meeting of the shareholders of the Corporation, then a break fee of C$2.0 million will be paid to Mr. McEwen."

Can Minera afford C$2.0 million break fee?

They are also issuing a lot of stock which is contrary to McEwen's stated policy.

Would Minera's Argentina project be sufficient to qualify for listing on the AMEX and/or Toronto exchanges?

Since McEwen appears to be interested in only Nevada, maybe he plans to sell Minera's Argentinian project to Mauricio Hochschild Ltd ... after NVG & MAI shareholders approve the second tranches, he exercises the warrants and takes over control of NPG & MAI ... he already controls Coral Gold?? can he take control of WKR?

BWDIK - this is just wild speculation.

Any idea of how many millions McEwen has left?
