You are being ignorant about Microsoft.

Read The Road Ahead, or other sources. Microsoft always had a conservative balance sheet with one full year of expenses in the bank at all times.

Look at Priceline, and how they paid airlines with stock and the airlines, like Delta, cashed out and the stock crashed. Companies with incentives to participate rather than a free market buying and selling distort the distribution of a product. Whether the list you cite got paid, or freebies or any other incentive, I do not know. I do know I shorted it and bought puts (when options traded) and I think skeptics made money here and so did the Spragues. I also made money years ago in Sprague Electric, the old SPE, run by the father. So I know their history when it made sense, and I'm still a skeptic. The conservative play would be to watch and maybe buy (or read the filings) at 1.51 if it ever gets there.
