Why cater public policy toward some of the worst aspect of human nature - excessive greed. Why not direct public policy toward enlightened interests. I have difficulty with labeling the desire to be compensated for constructive work done and/or risk taken as "greed" let alone "excessive greed." Likewise wanting to provide for one's offspring, one's favorite causes, one's friends. Calling that "enlightened" is topsy-turvey to my eye.
