You didn't answer the rest of my questions. What should I infer from that? That you're just talking about an estate tax and that live people could sell or give away their assets as they see fit?

RE 20%, that doesn't give me a very good idea. What size estate would warrant a 20% tax? What would be the tax on 100 thousand, roughly? One million? One billion? I don't have any sense of this. At first you seemed to be advocating taking all the estate. Later you said "some." I don't know what "some" means to you in this context.
