Thomas; As with any mature market the old systems that work will keep going. The "sticker shock" is the new software that must be bought to make it go and the admin and train costs, more than the box cost. In addition the network manglers and their bosses have read all about NT4 and it's assorted bug disks, and are happy with win 3.11, on 3.51 and will keep it going for years. Some of the new products have a plethora of new features, but are used like a winpad. I wonder how a good Windows 3.11system will work on a pentium 200 II, might be quite a bit faster than Win95 with win95 compatible software, that does the same but with many extra passengers and freight. So the rush to 95 and derivatives has slowed. How can they force the issue?, the software companies will be in cahoots on this one, as they want to sell their nice new 32 bit apps. So MSFT will hit a wall in January, along with all their microsoftalist lackeys and running dogs.
